Glove Care Guide

A little attention between uses.

Follow the supplied label first

Different glove constructions require different treatment. Check the actual care label before washing, drying or applying a cleaning product. Do not infer machine washability or a safe temperature from a photograph.

After kitchen use

Allow mitts to cool fully. Inspect seams, palm surfaces and cuffs for wear. Keep them dry before any permitted heat-handling task; damp fabric can transfer heat. Never use a damaged mitt or expose it to open flame.

After an outdoor day

Remove loose debris gently and let gloves air out in a ventilated place according to the label. Avoid direct heaters and strong heat unless specifically permitted. Do not pack away damp gloves.

Storage and checks

Store clean, dry gloves away from sharp objects and direct sunlight. Check closures and seams before each use. If wear changes fit or handling, stop using the item for demanding tasks and assess replacement.
